DeLovely Evening
Karen Giorgio and Glen Rose pay tribute to Cole Porter in this cabaret show. As always, I made the poster and video of the show.
Here is the PR:
De Lovely Evening Synopsis
Karen Giorgio and national touring artist Glen Rose combine their talents to present a delightful and de-lovely evening of Cole Porter – his stories and his songs. Together they bring to life the music and stories of one of Americas most beloved composers. Through Karen’s and Glen’s vocal and piano styles (they each sing and play the piano) you will revisit Tin Pan Alley’s most illustrious and prolific composer/lyricist on a journey through Cole's colorful and illustrious musical career which started during Broadway’s “Golden Age” of music of the 1920s.
Storytelling is a big part of the show. They will fill your heart and mind with delightful stories about this eccentric New Yorker who was well known for his sophisticated songs. Not only will you leave the theater humming Cole's "Night and Day" or “Anything Goes" but you'll know the endearing stories behind the songs.
“The most fun-filled show you will ever see about Cole Porter...”
“Karen & Glen bring Cole Porter to life in song and story.”
This production is the incarnation of a project that Karen and Glen had envisioned and nurtured over several years and draws upon their wealth of knowledge on Cole Porter.
